Municipal Drinking Water Treatment Plant – Technical Partnership

WTS has supported a 230+ML/day municipal drinking water treatment plant in far north Queensland, providing broad technical & operational support and water treatment chemicals for over 30 years.

The Northern Queensland environment provides challenges to managing water treatment, particularly during the monsoon season when water deluges can cause rapid and significant changes in water quality. WTS provides additional technical assistance during rain events.

WTS also:

  • provides routine onsite and laboratory testing services
  • provides support in monitoring and managing seasonal algal blooms
  • scheduled preventative maintenance

WTS has been instrumental in operational improvements and upgrades over our 30-year involvement.
